We don’t go
out to the movies anymore. Like a lot of folks we stream them into our living
room via the SMART flat screen tv. We make our own popcorn. Settle back in our jammies and enjoy the flick. So that means what we see is not what is current
in the theaters. Recently we saw a movie called The Founder starring Michael
Keaton playing Ray Kroc the notorious founder of Mcdonalds. It was out in
theaters this past Christmas but we streamed it in the past month. Better late
than never. We enjoyed it more than any other picture we’ve seen in recent
memory. It was really good. Worth checking out if you are looking for something
to entertain you with no violence, minimal bad language or without gratuitous sex. And
if you stream it, the price is much cheaper than it would be at the movie
theater.

Like you I watch my movies at home and make my own popcorn. I'll have to look for the movie. It sounds like something I'd like too. Thanks for letting us know about it.
This is one flick that I haven't heard of, so I'm glad you mentioned it.
I haven't gone out to a movie in many years. It's so much easier (and cheaper) to watch them at home
and relax......and munch popcorn!
Hot buttered popcorn and pajamas are two of my favorite things! I had to pay tax on the value of 2 sets of tickets I won (movie/popcorn/drink) ... shocked it was $35.50!
I'm going to check out that flick!
Still waiting on insurance company before we can get door situation resolved.
That sounds like a fun movie night. Popcorn, pj's, and a good movie.....doesn't get much better than that. : )

We're really in the dark ages, we never watch movies any way. John is in to game shows on TV and I, word games on my computer.
Always good to see your alerts. One day, yep one day we are gonna try a movie. That one sounds good. We haven't tried much since my Cochlear implants, but I want to give it a try.
Hope all is well for you all.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, TARYTERRE! Have a nice and restful weekend. You deserve it, my dear.

I love movie recommends. I trust those much more than the "professional" ones. We are "on the couch at home" movie watchers too. :-) Sincerely~ Andrea
