Went to an International
Expo held at The Auxiliary
Center here in town. It
featured activities that showcased food, dance, artwork, handcrafted items,
music and clothing from a variety of different cultures. This allowed us to see
the diversity in our neighborhoods locally and let us touch base with our
global friends. Some of the countries represented there were Egypt ,
Costa Rica , India , Japan ,
Mexico , Scotland , Tunisia ,
Indonesia, America and Guatemala. We enjoyed all the delicious food and fascinating cultures, closer to home than we realized.

GREAT entry. Loved the narrative and pictures. Bolivia certainly had the most colorful display. All of them were good.
Especially the last two Americans, the product of many!!!
Love and ((HUGS)) from The Wildwood of Florida!!
What an interesting adventure you had.
Thanks for taking us along on your trip. What a fun day you had. It's interesting to see what others cultures do and what they eat too. I'm a mixture of 7 or 8 of them myself.
Title of blog is so fitting! Looks like a fun time!

Wonderful displays and costumes. I love going to events like this one.
Taryterre,
Oh, I just saw something like this when I went for a drive with my husband today, but didn't go inside. I love these festivals that display all the different cultures. They are so interesting to me. The Scottish booth is wonderful, and I really like the bright decorative masks. What a fun place to go. Hope you had a great time.
