Everywhere I go...
I am inundated with Duck Dynasty paraphernalia.
It seems these guys have their name
on virtually everything made.
It seems these guys have their name
on virtually everything made.
Tee-shirts,
hats and books... I understand.
But they also have their name on watches,
clocks,
sunglasses, jewelry and greeting cards.
Not to mention...
a gnome or two for
your garden.
Dolls for your kids.
But it doesn't stop there.
These dudes are raking in the big bucks
by branding carpet, pillows, lunch pails,
notebooks, band aids, and duck tape too,
among a zillion other things.

notebooks, band aids, and duck tape too,
among a zillion other things.
Halloween costumes no doubt, as well.
And they are laughing
all the
way to the bank doing it.
Who is buying this stuff?
Don't you think these
fellas
are a little overexposed,
no matter how much you like them?
Do you really need to see their logo
emblazoned on a pair of
woman's underwear?
SERIOUSLY????
I'm all for making a dollar...
BUT these folks are SHAMELESS.

i had no idea there was stuff like this out there. you are right, who is buying this stuff?
I'm not spending my money on it. Have you ever watched that show? After hearing so much we turned it on and back off. Can't blame them for making the money if they can though. OMG!
That is unbelievable, I had no idea they were so popular.
It truly is unbelievable. America is the only place where you can get famous and rich without having any talent or looks.
They're pretty popular around here, lol. We see people walking around with their name on shirts, and shoes all the time, but not me. I have to admit I did buy one of Si's
books. Lol. Take care, Jean
Oh yea, I've been seeing them all over, and I had no idea who they were. I'll stick to my same underwear, thank you. hehehe
Love,
~Sheri
Not sure who is buying the stuff, but somehow is otherwise they wouldn't be producing it. I have to admit the underwear is a bit different, thankfully they don't have the pictures on it.
I do like the show, I do like that they close most shows with a prayer at dinner. I also did read somewhere that the producers didn't want them to mention Jesus/faith/God or so much about guns in their shows. Phil said if they couldn't mention their faith/Jesus/God, no show. I like he took a stand.
I do realize it is a reality show, like so many out there, but have to say I would rather watch them then Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
betty
Funny thing, we live under a rock. I have heard the name and saw stuff labeled, but I know NOTHING about them what so ever, 'cept they got beards.... Don't look like ducks to me. LOL
It's not us. I don't see the merchandise here, but I'm reading about them all the time. I've never watched the show, and probably won't.
I haven't seen their show but a local high school athletic department hired them to come and speak in Cleveland last year. They used our church and sold over 1,000 tickets. It was sold out. From those who went to hear them, they said they have a strong, strong Christian testimony. I am glad they are pointing others to Jesus while they have their attention.
I had to google them a while back to find out what all the facebook posts were about... I think their story is pretty neat, but am kinda glad I don't have the access (cable. etc) to get hooked.
Now when the new season of Downton Abbey start... that will be another story. =)
Yes the stuff is everywhere...ha. I haven't bought any stuff but have seen the show. Phil's laid back way of talking reminds me of my brother-in-law...ha. Take care, Sheila
I get a kick out of the show but I've not purchased anything. Don't intend to, but you never know. I did notice the last time I went to Walmart that they are EVERYWHERE, but the undies were new to me :)
Love this post.. Fits my mood today.
We love their show but haven't bought any of the products except their books.
Donald Trump seems shameless too ~ I wonder if we have to be brazenly shameless to build a millionaires empire lol I do give them credit for being entrepreneurs in every sense of the word though.
Oh well seems that having been said , I will remain a not rich, rather humble , but happy farm girl . :)
