ASL has really received a lot of publicity over this challenge. Several in my family have done it too. I am glad awareness and support has been provided. It's amazing what a little ice can do! It helps being summertime too. Congrats to you on accepting the challenge!

How does it make money for ALS?
You can go to their website and see how the challenge works. I provided the link. In addition to getting the ice & water dumped on my head, I also donated money to the cause.
I did this a few days ago, I was challenged by my brother. Great cause, I had a cousin who passed from ALS. Now I wish they could get something going for cancer research that would increase donations. Great job! Take care, Sheila
