A CULTURAL POTPOURRI

 

Went to an International Expo held at The Auxiliary Center here in town. It featured activities that showcased food, dance, artwork, handcrafted items, music and clothing from a variety of different cultures. This allowed us to see the diversity in our neighborhoods locally and let us touch base with our global friends. Some of the countries represented there were Egypt, Costa Rica, India, Japan, Mexico, Scotland, Tunisia, Indonesia, America and Guatemala. We enjoyed all the delicious food and fascinating cultures, closer to home than we realized.
