Very nice rememberings for Memorial Day!! Always heart warming to see the flag flying free because people were willing to fight for our country and freedom.

When my grandfather was alive, my oldest son would call him on memorial day and express his thanks to him for serving in WWII. My boy loved his great-grandfather. He was a poll-bearer at his funeral.

I am thankful for our service men and women... and also that my Dad was in the Navy, my brother was a Marine, and my other brother was in the Navy. Nice pictures! I hope you had a blessed day!

Lovely pictorial tribute Tery. We saw flags flying everywhere as we remembered our soldier fathers who served in the Canadian army during WWII...and our uncles who died over there.
