CAJUN NIGHT CAME TO TOWN

We were welcomed inside
with some colorful beads

VENISON was NOT on the MENU

...But... CRAWFISH, Potatoes
and JAMBALAYA were.
They had corn on the cob too.
But can't chew on that with our teeth.

These little guys yield about a
thumb full of meat, if you're lucky.

OR YOU MIGHT ENCOUNTER THIS
"The ONE that GOT away."

DO YOU SEE THE SIZE
OF THAT CRUSTACEAN?
MUST have had a LOBSTER
for a parent?

Before DESSERTS though...

We HAD to GET a
SECOND HELPING

of those
CRAWDADS.

 Also had some AUTHENTIC
NEW ORLEANS GUMBO.

AND THE
 "PIECE DE RESISTANCE"
Don't JUDGE. There are two pieces, I know.
I'd be LYING if I said one of them
was for my husband. But it WAS.
