Finally it's been installed.
and we can get the first peaceful night of sleep
in many months.
After dealing with a break-in and arguing with the insurance company about who was going to pay for what and how much....
we got our new front door.
The old one had been smashed in by a guy HIGH on DRUGS
trying to break into our house.
And we were living with it's damage
until our claim could be processed
and settled.
To say I'm relieved with a new door in place would be an understatement.
 is a better assessment.

Sad it took that long to get installed. Some insurance companies do everything they can not to pay a claim. Sweet dreams!

It's a nice door you now have. Hope it can not be smashed into. What a long wait you've had. Sleep securely!

i bet you are relieved. it's pretty horrible that you had to wait so long. insurance companies are awful at trying not to pay claims.

I'm so glad that you finally have your new door, Taryterre. It took quite awhile for the insurance people to figure this all out. So sorry you had to deal with all of that. It looks very nice, and what's more, you can now get some rest. : )

love, ~Sheri

It is always a PLUS to feel safer whether young or old. But as the years move on and our strength wanes, feeling SAFER is better!
Good on ya!

The new door is beautiful - I love it! Let's PRAY that you never have to go through another horrifying incident.
Dealing with insurance companies is almost as bad as dealing with those insane, drug-crazed intruders.

Taryterre, I wish I liked fish more cause it's so good for us. I do like the fish and chips though, they are Yummy. I'm glad you're a fish lover.

Hope you're enjoying your new door. It's been so hot here lately, in the 100's.

Like the new door. I'm so sorry that happened to you. That would leave you rattled. It's important that we feel secure.
