Early this morning,
there was a chill in the air,
as I sat out on the patio…
drinking my Harney tea,
looking up at the sky.
The joy of such a moment…
PRICELESS.
Last week…
I decorated just a 'little' for the
upcoming FALL season…
With
vigor and wild abandon.
It’s
early, I know... very early.
But I couldn’t help myself.
I needed to take my mind off
Of things, best not said.
Please
indulge me and my whims…
As I
show you a few photos
Of
my humble abode…
In
an AUTUMN mode.
I
hope they bring,
a smile to your lips.
Come inside and have a look.
ENJOY!
Outside it looks like this.
Can't wait for the leaves
to turn colors
And the temps to cool.
And pumpkin spice to fill the air.
PS) The witches, skeletons, Dracula
and the like... will come later
when Halloween begins to haunt us.

sweet! i can't wait. bring it on!
My most favorite season! I LOVE the color of your front door; ours needs repainted in the worst way.
These are so fun. Now I'm wondering how long I can resist running to the Dollar Store!
Happy Autumn. Hope you enjoy it to the fullest.
It is NEVER too early to start thinking about autumn. I'm always in a Halloween mood in August! Surrounding ourselves with autumnal decorations is uplifting and emotionally satisfying. I like all of your fall decor. It was in the 50s here last night - - chilly enough for an extra blanket.
What a joy to see an alert from the TT! YOu make one welcome on every visit. Love the decorations especially the 'new door' and the Night and day showings of the windows. Good stuff. Trust you are safe, I think I see you still love music and movies. Love ya and missed ya,
Sherry & jack in the Autumn of our lives. .
Hope everything is okay with you and your family. Prayers. I absolutely love how you decorated your windows. I like it in both daylight and at night. Absolutely love it! It looks so cozy and inviting. I may have to steal that look. Happy almost Autumn.
Your house is all decked out for Fall! Everything looks pretty and festive, Taryterre. I decorated already too, but I don't have half as many decorations as you do. I was talking with Jess the other day, and I told her I didn't have too much, and she said she would send me a few Fall things in the mail, can't wait. I love how your window looks from the outside. So warm and cozy with the lights. I am wondering if those are battery operated. You know, I had that same ghost and pumpkin, and Nel loved it, so I gave it to her many years ago. I think it's her favorite decoration. Your ceramic cat is sweet. And your mantel filled with Autumn things looks very nice. The wreath on your door is welcoming. I'm glad decorating for Fall lifted your mood. It was fun for me too being in the mountains and finding a new place for everything.
Wishing you sweet September days, Taryterre, and I must come back and see
your post again. I love how you decorated this year.

I enjoyed seeing all your fall decos, so thanks for showing them in this post. As for decorating early, there is no such thing and all my exterior summer-themed decos came down the day after Labor Day. Now, the space is filled with scarecrows, pumpkins, and leaves and makes me smile whenever I see them. Autumn is indeed the best time of year!
