JUST CHANGE THE WRAPPER

Christmas candies, at full price... were out on all the store shelves on Halloween night. These retailers have this selling thing down to a science, don't they? They didn't give us consumers a chance to buy any leftover Halloween candy at a half off. Imagine that???

Ha - the local Walmart where I live had Christmas things out a week before Halloween.
They never have sales on leftover holiday candy like they used to.

I was just wondering the other day about what they do with that seasonal stuff. One day it's there, then it's gone. It makes me think maybe they do repackage it and change the wrapper.

Gosh I must be naive - I didn't know they did that. Makes me sad.

Yes, that is the name of the game now. Smart for the retailer, not so much for the consumer....

Something about Chocolate........ Why do I think Chocolate when someone says CANDY???? (smile)

I know what you mean, I went into the local k-mart on Halloween and the Christmas stuff was out. They had a few things fall/Thanksgiving.
Have a great day, Sheila

Yep, Halloween was gone literally overnight at the local WalMart here, and you are right, replaced with Christmas. I do remember the days of 50% off candy after Halloween (like I need the candy this year, LOL :)

It seems that all the stores sell their merchandise about 2 months before each holiday starts. I like this for Christmas because it lets me do my shopping early so that I can enjoy the season and concentrate on what Christmas is all about. This candy looks so good, Taryterre.

I think it's just right down tacky to be selling Christmas stuff nearly 2 months before Christmas! I guess I'm just old-fashioned, but I think they should wait at least until after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving gets overlooked anymore. I even heard Christmas music being played in Target before Halloween!

My Walmart and CVS had Halloween candy half price the next day! I have finally finished all I got. Time for some Christmas candy! Actually I am more about Christmas cookies. These stores decorate earlier and earlier each year!
