WEARING A BIT OF GREEN

I was going to go to the ST.PATRICK’S DAY parade here in town… but the temps outside were just too cold for my sensibilities. So instead... I went back in time with these archived parade photos. I thought I would share them here with you. They’ve never been posted before. I know you’d get a kick out of them. People just are crazy about wearing the green. Everybody is a bit IRISH on St. Patrick's Day, aren't they? Do you wear green?

ENJOY !

But Yep, everyone is a little Irish on St.Pat's day!

Love your pictures and your cute hat! I'm going to look for the green in my wardrobe. I know I have at least one green shirt.

All great pictures! Everyone indeed is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! I don't own green so not wearing any green come next Friday :)

There's something about St. Patrick's Day that instinctively brings everyone together. I don't have a drop of Irish blood - but I still love it. Your photos capture the spirit - and I like your cute green hat!

I usually wear some small token of green - a shirt or T shirt. If nothing else, I have an emerald ring...

I'm already wearing my tiny shamrock necklace. I'll leave it on until after the day because the clasp is so tiny it took me three long tries to fasten the clasp. Nice post.

I love the pageantry associated with St. Paddy's day ... even that silly Unicorn song that always brings a tear to my eye.
The only green article of clothing I own is a long-sleeve sweater -- far too warm to be wearing in 90-degree weather. Tom's taking me to my fav consignment shop for my b'day, so I think it only appropriate I discover something kelly-ish.

Oh, this parade looks fun - too bad you couldn't go this year. Yes, I try to wear green on St. Patrick's Day, and just bought a green t-shirt for the day. I love your festive hat, Taryterre! It looks sparkly. : )

love, ~Sheri
