Street art
is endearing to be sure. Take this mural for instance. My husband and I
stumbled across it when eating out. It appears on the back of a building in Royal Oak , Michigan .
Who would imagine Marilyn Monroe and the Three Stooges together? But there they
are. I can’t tell if the person on the motorcycle is Marlon Brando or James
Dean? What do you think? Have you seen any murals where you live? CLICK on PHOTOS to ENLARGE them.

We have a large mural on the sides of a building here in our town depicting a farmers market. I love the ones you shown. They are very lifelike.
I adore murals. If I had painted it I would be proud of it. The proportions of the characters is good. But I lean to Brando on the bike, but I would have preferred Jimmy Dean. More my time. LOL But yeah, Brando!
Stay dry and warm up your way!
Humm come to think or it we do have one pretty one on a garden shop. Mostly flowers and things. I'll have to try to notice it closer next time. I do all the driving now so can't always look the way I want to.
That is a cool art mural. I love to see walls that are creatively painted. Some people are so talented. Thanks for sharing this, Taryterre.
love, ~Sheri
I love street art. There are a lot of similar murals in and around Hollywood - but it's a nice surprise to find one in Michigan.
The guy on the motorcycle is definitely Brando - from the 1953 film "The Wild One".
Andalusia, Alabama just over the way from here has them painted on quite a few buildings. Love them.
Marilyn Monroe and The Three Stooges - what an interesting combination!
Pretty sure it's Brando. I'm a big fan of street murals and am always taking pictures when I see one. I may borrow your post idea and share some of my photographs. You will be my inspiration. Thanks!
