LIFE SIZE

I like seeing artwork in public forms. So imagine my delight seeing this life size 'person' cutout sculpture gracing the sidewalk we were visiting. Depending which way you peered out of it determined the view you saw. I prefered seeing the stationary bricks of the building, as opposed to seeing the traffic. Have you ever seen anything like this in your travels?

Never ran into that form of art before. I am wondering if the wall cleaner is being cool as he does his job cleaning the pain off the wall.
That would be sorta fun. Kinda like Paula's tag man down near San Antonio!

No, never saw one of these but it is interesting. At the farmer's market here they have a board painted like flowers with a whole in the center and kids can insert their faces in them.

I'm joining the rest as I've never seen anything like your life size art before either. Someone had an unique idea for sure. Glad you got to capture it !

Nothing quite like that, but we've got a lot of public art in NYC. I think I'll start taking pictures of it for a blog post to come.

That's so interesting, Taryterre. I think you're right about the way you view it. It DOES look more charming with the brick in the background. I like how they made the shape of the hands. This is a pretty cool art piece.

That's amusing! I haven't seen anything like it - but I prefer the bricks rather than the traffic, too.
It would probably startle me if I encountered it while drunk...

Never have I ever! I, too, prefer the brick. It almost looks like he/she is wearing white knee socks.

PS - Laughing at Jon's last remark!
