The good news is the tumor appears to be benign.
That is such a relief.
The bad news though is,
she now can not walk without falling down.
She wobbles and then collapses like she's had a stroke.
This is frustrating her and us.
At times it also appears...
she does not recognize her surroundings.
Her sweet little face is covered with stitches.
We feel like monsters for doing this to her.
The veterinarian's assistant told us
she would be like this for a while,
until the anesthesia wears off.
They used gas. Side effects are always bad.
If there is not noticeable improvement by tomorrow
we have to take her back in.
Otherwise we don't see the vet again
for fourteen days, at which point he'll remove her stitches.
It means the world to us.
We appreciate it more than you can possibly know.

I am so happy she is home. I have checked your blog many times this afternoon. God has heard our prayers and I'll continue to pray that the effects of the anesthesia wear off and she will get better every day. So happy she is with you tonight. xoxo

don't worry and don't take her back. she will be fine after everything is out of her system. she doesn't need the stress that going back would give her. teddy is horrible after being knocked out and it is scary and awful! great news though for all of you!

Thankful Dara's tumor looks like it is benign! Sorry that she is under the weather though from the anesthesia; hopefully she'll be back to her normal self in a few days from that! I hope she doesn't scratch at the stitches!

That is wonderful news. The anesthesia does take a bit to wear off. I'm thankful all went well.
